I want to take this opportunity to tell you how much we appreciate and value the wonderful training kasmo has had at your hands. he adjusted to his new home without a hitch and blesses us every day with his gentle spirit and intelligence. he is exactly what we wanted and much more than we ever thought to look or ask for. he is respectful even in new situations and the most willing horse I have ever been around. we hit the horsie jackpot when we got kasmo...how can I ever thank you, marv, for "the look" you gave me at the auction? it was that look that resulted in my next bid and one of the best equine experiences of our lives. I know he'll only get better and, yet, that is hard to imagine. I hope this finds you well from your journey and looking forward to a happy, sunny and warm spring. we will always be grateful for everything you put into kasmo. you have made our dreams come true.

Hi Marv and Connie! Sorry I haven't updated you yet... Stormy (now called Presley - because wasn't Elvis a Stormy Prince???) is doing GREAT! I've been on him (when the weather is cooperating) and so has the teenager down the street that is going to show him in 4H her last year. He's been wonderful. We have to chase him a bit, actually. But, he's got a terrific personality and has been a great young boy. Amazing, actually, for as young as he is. Obvisously, he had some good training and good treatment with you. I have referred several people to your website that are looking for a horse like him. I hope you can find more Stormy Prince's! :-) I will send you some pictures and more info soon. I hope you had a good holiday season! Nancy
Hi Marv, I-max is doing great (but he's known by a different name now- I had a relative named Max and just couldn't call him that)- we go pretty slow with stuff but he hasn't missed a beat at anything we've asked him to do. He has been to several shows for practice and has already figured out they are no big deal; he did do one class the other day- I have a dvd I can show you or send a copy; he just loped around a jumper course- no one knew it was the first full course he had ever done, including combination jumps. Just starting his flying lead changes and don't think it'll be too long before he gets that too. He's been on several trail rides also, including over night stuff and was terrific; so if you have another like him, we might need to talkl! Lea
Hi Marvin and family,
We are really enjoying Desire. He is pretty easy-going and seems happy here. I'm getting too close to having my baby to ride much- but I'm looking forward to spending more time with him in a couple months. In the meantime, he's been great with kids riding him around the paddock.
I had him hitched to my Concorde Wagon recently and he did ok.
Thanks so much for your time. The horses on your website look beautiful! I'm glad Desire came from such a great place.
Take care, Jenny Hi Connie and Marvin-- Update you on Spontaneous!!! With about 2.5 mos of training this summer and very little training time last year he successfully completed his first recognized event!!! Catalpa Corners Charity Horse Trials, Iowa city, IA. We ended up 5th in Beginner Novice Horse with lots of great competition! 3rd after dressage, clean and bold jumping xc but incurred a couple seconds time penalties xc(my conservative ride--don't want to break him down,4yo), and one rail down in stadium--my error! plus this was his 3rd course in his life--home or out!He has wonderful movement, a fabulous jump, loads of personality, the BIGGEST HEART! and I cannot imagine life without him. Hi Connie, Just wanted to give you a quick update on Kickapoo. My husband loves him. He is home at our place with his new friend Buddy. They get along lovely. We are very thrilled to have him. Kickapoo is such a nice horse and so very loving. It was great meeting you and please know that your horse has a fabulous home with lots of love. Take care and thanks again for Kickapoo.
